KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is dead after a collision on Saturday night in Kershaw County, said state troopers.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Saturday, March 16, around 8:50 p.m. on White Pond Road.
The Kershaw County Coroner’s Office said a pedestrian who was later identified as Nettie Hubbard appears to have been crossing White Pond Road going toward a Shell gas station when she
was hit by a vehicle.
SCHP said Hubbard was hit by two cars as she was walking in the roadway on White Pond Road. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The collision is under investigation by the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
